Permeable Pavers
An Ecotrihex® permeable pavement is the key to a sustainable water management system. These specially designed pavers allow water to infiltrate through the surface into the layers below where water can be harvested or redirected back to the water table. Surface water runoff is minimised and the need for additional surface drainage is reduced. These interlocking pavers that can be used for carparks, streetscapes, footpaths, heavy industrial traffic areas, government/council projects or road infrastructure.

Where should I use permeable pavers?
Use permeable pavers where water management is an issue. Normal paving may not allow adequate drainage of water whereas permeable pavers and designed to let water drain through the pavers.
Which pavers are permeable?
Not all pavers are permeable. You need to read the specifications of the paver to see if it's permeable. At APC, we have specific permeable pavers which are designed to allow water to infiltrate through the paver.
